Putting the ‘Fun’ back in Funny, FREEZIN’ The Story of the Snow Queen will be the COOLEST Family Panto in town!   Featuring an all-star cast with comedian Al Porter as Lolly Polly.

At just 21, Al Porter is the youngest Irish comic in history to headline Vicar Street and not only that, he SOLD OUT his shows in Vicar Street in March and April of this year.

Here are just a few comments about this extraordinary comedian:

  • “Al Porter is bleedin’ gas” – Jason Byrne
  • “One of the few comedians that actually makes me laugh” – David McSavage
  • “Hilarious! One of the nicest, funniest lads around” – PJ Gallagher
  • “I think Al Porter is destined to be a star.” – Karl Spain

Al is one of the few comics to ever receive a standing ovation at Dublin’s Laughter Lounge in good company that includes Jimmy Carr and Rich Hall.  Al is a television regular on RTE’s Republic of Telly but it’s live on stage that he truly shines!   Al has provided belly laughs at Sky Cat Laughs, Vodafone Comedy Festival, Electric Picnic, and in Vicar Street and the Olympia Theatre.  Last year alone Al has popped up on RTE’s Republic of Telly, RTE’s Electric Picnic, Next Week’s News, The Savage Eye, and Callan’s Kicks.  Despite his youth, this Christmas will mark his 11th year starring in the Olympia Theatre Pantomime.

Sponsored by Applegreen, FREEZIN’ The Story of the Snow Queen is promoted by Pat Egan and Brian Hand and is produced and choreographed by Stuart O'Connor and Ciara Armstrong of Spotlight Productions.   Directed by Simon Delaney, the show promises to be a spectacular action packed Christmas Panto for all the family.  FREEZIN’ The Story of the Snow Queen will feature an all singing, all dancing cast!
