Following his two sold out Olympia Theatre shows in January last year, award-winning mimic Oliver Callan returns to the Dame St stage on Saturday 11th May with a brand new live show. Tickets from €19 including booking fee on sale via and usual outlets nationwide.

Approximate times as follows: doors open 7.15pm, show starts 8pm. We would expect the show to be over by 10.30pm but please note these times are estimated and are subject to change.

His hugely anticipated new radio show, Callan’s Kicks, begins Friday 3rd May on RTE Radio 1.

Callan’s routines are never far away from controversy, having raised the ire of politicians, sports stars and media celebrities in recent years.

The Monaghan-born comic is also known for his sharply topical routines and outspoken interviews.

Oliver Callan biography:

Mimic Oliver Callan is the main voice behind Green Tea, the new comedy satire series taking the country by storm on RTE Radio One every Saturday. The Monaghan comedian was also the star of Nob Nation, the award-winning sketch series that came to prominence on The Gerry Ryan Show and Tubridy on RTE 2FM for five years.

RTE’s Green Tea features hundreds of characters from Taoiseach Enda to President Michael Twee Higgins and his “Vice-President” David Norris. Other targets include GAA fashionista Paul Galvin, Ireland football star Robbie Keane and RTE stars from Pat Kenny to Marian Finucane. Callan is a former journalist who has produced four hit albums and sold out the Olympia for his previous show at the Bulmers Comedy Festival in 2008.
