A few people called them the act of Electric Picnic 2017 after they made 10,000 people dance in a tent in the middle of the afternoon like it was the middle of the night. Now with their upcoming date at The Academy selling out ages ago, King Kong Company's next Dublin gig will be at The Olympia on Saturday October 13th 2018.

Tickets priced from €22.50 including booking fee & €1 restoration levy on sale NOW via Ticketmaster.ie, usual Ticketmaster outlets nationwide (list here) including The Olympia Theatre Box Office, and by calling Ticketmaster at The Olympia Phone Bookings on 0818 719 330.

The fees for this event include a €1.00 restoration levy. The restoration levy will allow The Olympia Theatre to invest in maintaining and enhancing the theatre to ensure that it continues to consistently deliver the highest quality experience for theatre goers, actors, performers & producers.

Under 14's must be accompanied by an adult, Over 18's ID required to gain access to the bars where alcohol is served.

King Kong Company are currently in the middle of their 2017 tour with the gigs in Cork, Dublin and Galway having sold out months ago. The band are coming off the back of their most successful summer yet having packed tents and fields at Body & Soul, Townlands, Sunflower Fest, Spraoi Festival and an epic Electric Picnic slot at 3.30pm on the Sunday afternoon, (not forgetting the die-hards set at 2am on the Salty Dog, but let’s not get into that one).  

The band wanted to capture the madness of the EP gig so they recruited fans to shoot the last track and send in the video files. They then pieced together a video made up of loads of phone footage that captured the madness of the EP gig. This is the resulting video...
